The Fresh Finds Forward initiative will provide eligible independent musicians with 12 months of studio access and promotional support.

Spotify announced the launch of Fresh Finds Forward, a new program designed to provide independent musicians with recording studio access, dedicated tools, and extended promotional support following placement on the platform's curated discovery playlists.

Under the terms of the program, artists included in any Fresh Finds playlist on or after Jan. 1, 2026, will be eligible to join the initiative. Enrolled artists will receive 12 months of continuous support intended to help them capitalize on initial streaming exposure and expand their listener base.

The flagship benefit for U.S.-based participants is free studio recording time at select high-profile facilities across the country. Participating venues include Electric Lady Studios in New York City, The Lighthouse at Ocean Way Nashville, and Spotify Music Studios in Los Angeles.

Beyond physical studio access, the program provides artists with early access to new Spotify software features, product tools, and analytics capabilities before general release. Participating acts will also receive priority assistance for optimizing profile management and digital strategy.

The company indicated that the program aims to lower barrier-to-entry costs for independent creators seeking professional production resources. Further details regarding international eligibility and additional studio partnerships are expected to be announced closer to the program's official rollout date.
