Sony to Release Pulse Elevate Wireless Gaming Speakers in November

Sony announced its Pulse Elevate wireless gaming speakers will launch on Nov. 12 for $219.99, with preorders opening in September.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced Tuesday that its Pulse Elevate wireless gaming speakers will officially launch on Nov. 12. The new gaming desktop hardware will retail for $219.99 in the United States, with advance customer orders scheduled to open on Sept. 1 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

First revealed nearly a year ago as part of the company's expanding audio hardware lineup, the dual speakers utilize specialized studio-inspired planar magnetic drivers. According to the company, these internal components are designed to deliver lifelike sound and precise audio reproduction across the entire audible spectrum.

The speaker system incorporates Sony’s proprietary PlayStation Link technology, which provides a low-latency connection designed to eliminate sound delays during fast-paced gameplay sessions. In addition to audio output, the peripheral includes an integrated microphone for voice chat functionality during multiplayer gaming.

The Pulse Elevate speakers feature broad cross-platform compatibility, connecting wirelessly to the PlayStation 5 home console, the PlayStation Portal remote play device, as well as PC and Mac computers. The product bundle includes dedicated charging docks designed to top up the internal batteries when the speakers are not in active use.

Sony confirmed that the Pulse Elevate speakers will be available in two distinct color finishes, black and white. Following the initial U.S. preorder window on Sept. 1, international preorders will open at 10:00 a.m. local time across participating global markets ahead of the November release date.
