Skanska Names Antonia Junelind CFO of US Civil Division

Antonia Junelind will succeed Jari Mäntylä as chief financial officer of Skanska USA Civil on Jan. 1, 2027.

Global construction contractor Skanska has appointed Antonia Junelind as the next chief financial officer of its U.S. civil infrastructure operating unit, Skanska USA Civil. The company confirmed that the executive transition will officially take effect on Jan. 1, 2027.

Junelind will succeed incumbent chief financial officer Jari Mäntylä, who is stepping down from the position. Upon assuming the leadership role, Junelind will oversee all fiscal strategy, financial reporting, risk management, and capital allocation for the firm's civil engineering operations throughout the United States.

The announcement establishes an extended succession timeline for the senior executive role. Skanska USA Civil serves as a major engine of growth within the parent company's North American portfolio, executing complex public works projects that include highway systems, bridges, rail infrastructure, tunnels, and water treatment facilities.

Mäntylä has directed financial operations for the division during a period of expansion and substantial project delivery. The advance notice of the leadership change is intended to ensure operational continuity across the company's ongoing long-term civil contracts and public-private partnership investments.

Headquartered in New York, Skanska USA Civil operates as a core division of Sweden-based Skanska AB, one of the largest construction and project development firms globally. The company stated that additional information regarding executive assignments will be finalized prior to the effective date in 2027.
