Redmagic Unveils 12 Pro Gaming Phone with RGB Liquid-Cooling System
The new smartphone incorporates customizable RGB lighting directly into its transparent liquid-cooling loop.

Smartphone manufacturer Redmagic has introduced its latest gaming device, the 12 Pro, featuring an updated internal liquid-cooling system equipped with integrated RGB lighting. The design builds upon the active cooling architecture used in the brand's previous models by embedding customizable light-emitting diodes directly into the phone's transparent cooling loop.
The integrated RGB lights can be configured to display specific illumination patterns based on user preferences. System functionality includes targeted lighting triggers for incoming phone calls, application notifications, and designated software events, allowing the cooling element to double as a visual alert mechanism.
Despite the addition of multi-color lighting components, the hardware continues to utilize a pre-filled fluorescent blue liquid inside the cooling chamber. Because the fluid remains visible, the illumination produced by the internal LEDs interacts directly with the standard hue of the coolant during active operation.
The physical interaction between the lights and the liquid alters the visual output of various color selections. White and blue settings intensify the existing liquid tone, green lighting yields a turquoise shade, and red or orange tones generate distinct colored highlights within the moving blue fluid stream.
The 12 Pro expands upon the thermal management technology introduced in the company's previous flagship handset. Additional hardware specifications, regional pricing, and availability details for the new device are scheduled for release during the ongoing commercial roll-out.
