The publishing arm established by the Phasmophobia development team detailed a multi-year games slate scheduled through 2028.
Video game publisher Kinetic Publishing unveiled a slate of five upcoming titles during its inaugural showcase presentation, marking the company's formal entry into third-party game publishing. The new organization, established by the development team behind the cooperative horror title Phasmophobia, outlined a multi-year release schedule extending through 2028.
The showcase's primary announcement detailed Precognition, an upcoming interactive title from game designer Sam Barlow, creator of Telling Lies and Immortality. The project was previously known to the public under the internal working title Project C during its early conceptual stages.
Incorporating mechanics from Barlow's earlier projects, Precognition will feature live-action full-motion video sequences and a nonlinear structure. The narrative follows a protagonist named Diana, who discovers she possesses the ability to receive visions of future events, serving as the primary narrative device.
All five titles presented during the broadcast are scheduled for release across 2027 and 2028. The lineup reflects Kinetic Publishing's initial strategy to build a commercial pipeline featuring story-driven and conceptual independent projects.
Additional operational details, platform distribution plans, and specific release dates for Precognition and the four other titles revealed in the broadcast are expected to be announced closer to their targeted launch dates.
