Dyson has introduced the CameraJet, a $499 AI-powered toothbrush and flosser equipped with a macro camera that livestreams video of the user's mouth.

Dyson has officially unveiled the CameraJet, a $499 combination toothbrush and flosser integrated with artificial intelligence and a built-in camera system. The device marks the technology company's first entry into high-tech oral care hygiene gadgets.

The device features a 100,000-pixel macro-lens camera mounted directly inside the brush head. The system livestreams real-time video of the interior of the user's mouth to a connected mobile application while providing automated feedback on brushing coverage and technique.

According to product specifications, development of the CameraJet required six years and involved a team of 661 engineers. The unit incorporates an internal "anti-gravity tank" designed to deliver fluid and flossing capability regardless of the angle at which the handle is held.

To ensure the camera feed remains unobstructed during operation, Dyson recommends using a specialized non-foaming toothpaste and dedicated mouth rinse. The company is offering an optional subscription service to deliver replacement brush heads and cleaning supplies, though third-party dental products remain compatible.

Initial retail availability has seen rapid consumer demand, with specific color options selling out quickly in select international markets including the United Kingdom. Dyson has not yet disclosed full global rollout timelines or official sales figures for the new product line.
