Israel-based Mave plans to double its headcount as demand grows for automated systems to counter increasingly sophisticated AI-powered cyber threats.
Cybersecurity startup Mave announced it has raised $34 million in total funding to expand its artificial intelligence security operations platform. The financing includes a recent $28 million Series A round led by Red Dot Capital Partners, with participation from Lumir Growth Partners, alongside a prior $6 million seed round.
Founded in 2025 by Guy Eshel and Chief Executive Officer Raziel Oren, the Israel-based company uses AI agents to assist corporate security operations. The platform integrates with existing enterprise security infrastructure to consolidate data, investigate incoming alerts, filter out false alarms, and perform automated response actions approved by human operators.
Enterprise security teams face mounting pressure as bad actors increasingly leverage automated systems to execute cyberattacks at greater speed and scale. According to company leadership, legacy defense software cannot maintain the pace required to counter emerging AI-driven threats, creating operational bottlenecks for corporate defense teams.
To build operational trust, Mave relies on full workflow transparency by logging each analytical step taken by its agents. The startup charges enterprise clients a flat rate based on company size and specific security requirements, with a customer base that includes several Fortune 500 corporations.
Mave currently employs 30 people and intends to use the fresh capital to double its headcount. The planned expansion will focus primarily on scaling go-to-market operations and accelerating artificial intelligence research and development.
