Bethesda Officially Titles Next Elder Scrolls Game Sentinel
Bethesda Game Studios confirmed the official subtitle for The Elder Scrolls VI in a video marking the studio's 40th anniversary.

Bethesda Game Studios has officially titled the next entry in its long-running fantasy role-playing series The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel, resolving years of speculation surrounding the upcoming video game project.
Studio chief Todd Howard revealed the subtitle in a video presentation published to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bethesda Game Studios. Howard stated during the video broadcast that the studio's major milestone represented the ideal moment to officially name the game for its audience.
The title confirmation marks the first substantial operational update on the project in several years. Bethesda initially acknowledged that a sixth main entry in The Elder Scrolls franchise was in active development more than eight years ago, but the studio has disclosed minimal official information regarding the title in the interim.
No release window or targeted platforms were announced alongside the name reveal. Questions surrounding platform availability have remained a topic of debate across the interactive entertainment industry since Microsoft acquired Bethesda's parent company, ZeniMax Media, in 2021.
The Elder Scrolls series remains one of the gaming industry's most commercially successful open-world role-playing franchises, with its previous mainline entry achieving record sales globally. Additional details concerning the plot, setting, and gameplay features of The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel will be released in future development updates.
