Electronics retailer Best Buy has launched a nationwide preorder promotion for the upcoming lineup of Android-powered Googlebook laptops, offering customers a complimentary pair of Pixel Buds 2A wireless earbuds with qualifying purchases. The preorder incentive is scheduled to remain active through October 25, 2026, ahead of the broad market rollout for the new computer platform.

Initial shipments for select Googlebook configurations are expected to begin as early as October 5, 2026. Designed to expand the Android ecosystem into full-scale personal computing, the new machines feature hardware specifications targeted to compete directly against rival Windows Copilot devices currently on the market.

Under the terms of the retailer's promotion, the included Pixel Buds 2A in hazel are added automatically to qualifying digital shopping carts upon selecting an eligible Googlebook model, subject to availability prior to the late October deadline.
