AECOM Names Manav Kumar as Next Chief Legal Officer

Infrastructure consulting firm AECOM has appointed Manav Kumar as chief legal officer to succeed the retiring David Gan.

Infrastructure consulting giant AECOM announced the appointment of Manav Kumar as its new chief legal officer. Kumar will assume the top legal position as current chief legal officer David Gan prepares to retire from the company after a long tenure.

Kumar, who joined AECOM in 2017, has held several senior legal roles within the organization. During his time with the firm, he has managed global corporate governance, legal risk mitigation, litigation management, and regulatory compliance across its international operations.

Gan will retire following years of service directing the firm's global legal department. Having served as chief legal officer since 2019, Gan has overseen major corporate transactions, ethics initiatives, and strategic legal counsel for the executive team and board of directors.

The Dallas-based infrastructure firm emphasized that the succession plan is designed to ensure a seamless leadership transition across its legal and compliance operations. Kumar will oversee all legal strategies, risk oversight, and governance frameworks moving forward.

AECOM provides design, engineering, construction management, and consulting services for complex infrastructure projects worldwide.
